Ali is the co-founder and CEO of Crelos Ltd. She consults in the fields of organisational development and change, specifically in executive team dynamics, individual executive assessment and coaching and talent selection, management and development.
Alis approach to organisational consultancy and executive team dynamics has been drawn from extensive training in behavioural, cognitive and sports psychology as well as her own personal and business performance experiences. In her professional career as a business psychologist she has worked with numerous executives primarily in turnaround or high performance situations. In her personal life, she is an entrepreneur, an adventurer and a triple Olympian.
Ali has pioneered a consulting methodology for organisational change which uses coaching as the key component for identifying requirements for change and a high performance executive assessment methodology that integrates both behavioural and interpretative psychology. The principles of both methods are under-pinned by the theory of systems-psychodynamics which explores the link between individual, group and organisational beliefs, interaction and dynamics. Of particular importance are factors that effect motivation and productivity; individual, group and organisational identity; role, task, boundary and authority and the exercise of effective leadership.
Ali is an author and a frequent and sought after contributor in the media with recent contributions to the Walker review and in the Sunday Times, the Times, the FT, Accountancy Today, Talent Review, Personnel Today, and on Woman's Hour. Ali is invited to speak on a range of topics including, most recently, Boards and board behaviour; due diligence of executive teams; the psychology of risk; being an effective Non-executive director; the psychology of the high performers and the psychology of change.
Ali has consulted variously to education services, the construction industry, legal and professional services, telecommunications, banks and other financial institutions (insurance, retail, investment, private equity and venture capital), in the United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and the USA.
