Libby is the Client Director working specifically with organisations within the Public Sector. However, her breadth of experience working with clients across a range of industries and challenges, enables her to work across all sectors. She works to develop a shared vision with her clients, looking to bring both her sector and talent knowledge to the table and to support the creation of a long-term relationship based on delivery of effective, valuable and sustainable interventions.
Her passion is for helping clients to be more commercially successful by focusing on their people; whether this is through improving customer retention or increasing revenue. She believes strongly in the need to closely align any change programme to the organisation's strategic objectives.
Her consultative approach to relationship development is driven by her varied background in leadership consultancy, sales and also high performance sport.
Some of the most significant projects that Libby has undertaken have focused on:
Libby was a member of the British Rowing team for a number of years and was a trail blazer in the sport by being the first British woman ever to win a medal at the Junior World Rowing Championships. She followed this with medals at both Commonwealth Games and World Championships, culminating in becoming World Champion in 1997. She retains her involvement with rowing through coaching and being on the management committee of the Leander Club in Henley.
This early focus on high performance in sport made her want to understand what led to high performance in business, and Libby worked as a consultant for Centre for High Performance Development (CHPD) focusing on the assessment and development of high performers within global, corporate organisations. Libby worked with organisations such as Omnicom, Bayer, GSK and Credit Suisse.
Libby then moved to Energis where she was responsible for leadership and behavioural development across the organisation. Libby designed a leadership development programme for 300 leaders, as well as designing and managing new performance management and succession planning processes. With the acquisition of Energis by Cable & Wireless, Libby moved to an account management role responsible for developing two large systems integrator accounts, Logica and Unisys focusing largely on opportunities in the public sector. During this time, she experienced the difficulties that major change produces: the bringing together of two cultures; the need to define and differentiate the company in a changing, crowded telecoms market; the challenge of establishing and developing client relationships during a period of turmoil.
