Leon Fisher

Client Director for Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) sector

BSc (Hons)

Leon is the Client Director working with organisations within the TMT sector. As such, Leon is responsible for keeping abreast of the challenges faced by companies within this sector and the impact of these on the people working within these organisations. He looks to develop an understanding of his clients' business strategy and to work with them to develop and deliver a relevant talent strategy. He believes in creating a long-term relationship with clients based on the delivery of effective, valuable and sustainable interventions.

He is a keen advocate of talent management as an organisation wide imperative, and not just limited to the HR agenda; this is increasingly the case as organisations take a broader view of the factors that unlock potential and performance... and the most satisfying initiatives are those that manage to balance both short and long term delivery.

Project experience

Leon has worked on significant strategic assignments with his clients:

  • The creation of a three year transformational business strategy for learning and development in telecoms.
  • The creation of a world class academy for sales managers with the purpose of creating capability and delivering behavioural change across a national sales force.
  • The design and delivery of an "engagement event" aimed at launching a new learning and development system. The event combined experiential learning, seminars and expert speakers.

Previous experience

Leon brings a wealth of experience, both in business development, relationship management and talent. After graduating from University, Leon held a variety of commercial and human resources roles across a wide variety of industries and sectors including dot.com, finance and most recently automotive.
