Tom is an executive coach and organisational development consultant with over twelve years experience working with senior leaders and their teams.
Tom's approach is informed by extensive study in the field of organisational psychology. An excellent facilitator, Tom combines his understanding of people with his knowledge of business and organisational systems. His workshops are stimulating and act as a trigger for long-term change. As a coach, Tom is known as a good listener who can be direct and challenging in his feedback.
Tom has been awarded the EMCC Senior Practitioner Accreditation Status. Individuals who have achieved this level have proven to be competent working with a range of clients, contexts and organisations. The Senior Practitioner draws on a range of models and frameworks and is confident working fluidly in the moment, with varied and often complex client issues in demanding contexts. Areas of focus may include building capacity for progression, managing complex and challenging relationships, and working with ambiguity and change. The Senior Practitioner is a role model for good practice, receives regular supervision and attends more than 32 hours CPD per year.
Tom has a background as a professional expedition leader, having led over 25 major international ventures. This includes managing environmental projects in Belize, building a school in Tanzania, working with Tibetan refugees in India and snow-tracking wolves in Poland. Tom still leads trekking expeditions as a hobby.
