Crelos successfully partnered a major financial services organisation in a change programme to globalise the worlds largest finance function. This shift required a move towards a strategic partner operating model, with significant improvements in finance processing. Crelos led the design of a global talent strategy including a global succession planning process, a benchmarking exercise delivered across Europe, Asia and America and the development of a finance talent community initially through the delivery of a Global Leadership Conference. Crelos identified a global talent pool for the finance function and developed a framework for assessment of potential, embedded regular global succession planning and drove employee engagement.

A lack of in-house skills to deploy to large scale projects created an over reliance on contractors for a leading utility supplier. Crelos successfully designed tools to enable the organisation to assess what good looks like for specific roles, including technical competency frameworks, a behavioural framework and materials to support the embedding process. The work is ongoing with the aim of developing the internal talent to make the department a best in class consultancy function.

The announcement of the sale of a major private bank meant the CEO needed to establish the correct framework for the Executive Committee to deliver against shareholder objectives. Crelos were brought in to provide coaching and facilitation services to support the broader MBO team through a strategic thinking process. This method placed the coach in a supporting role, developing trusting relationships at an individual and team level, in order to surface issues and support the team to develop deeper insights into their personal and group capability. This approach helped the team manage anxiety, tensions and action responses in order to drive effective decision making and move forward in a cohesive manner.
